In today's special edition of Upper West Side Corner Talk, host Lee Uehara meets voter Kate Maloy who gets to lead off the show before talking about the early voting scene at West 102nd Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Lee also shares tips on what to bring to make standing in the hours-long line more bearable.
(**BRING YOUR BATTERY CHARGER!!!** - forgot to mention this. Ack!)
Jack Cole, a line leader for the polling location shares his observations Sunday morning. Then, Lee meets Susan Gross, a voter in line who is concerned about her mom and has to go to the bathroom.
Before wrapping up, Lee meets Brad Gibson, his fiancé and their small dog, Cash. Lee's recorded interview with Brad didn't make it, but she's sharing his Instagram handle with folks because he did tell her he wanted to use his platform to get people out to vote.
Finally, Lee shares what good deed she and her line buddies did while waiting to vote.
Please do share the show with at least three other neighbors and friends.
